The Central Savannah River Peace Alliance invites area residents to a vigil at the corner of 15th St and Walton Way in Augusta Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 4 PM – 5:30 PM. Make sure you are on one of our messenger lists to get an instant update.
The vigil has three calls:
- Immediate ceasefire
- Humanitarian aid
- Cease support of Israel

Bring signs that are easily visible to drivers passing by. Three to four words in block letters.
Attendees must not obstruct pedestrians in the sidewalks or cars driving past. For example, don’t extend signs or flags into the road. In addition, no audio amplification is allowed. When crossing the street, push the button to request pedestrian crossing and wait for the signal. Check forecast & dress appropriately. The temperature drops rapidly when the sun sets below the buildings.
If you drive, don’t park on private property. There are nearby residential neighborhoods where street parking is permitted. If walking this short distance is an issue or you need other accommodations, contact us.
