Join us for Peace Day at the Statehouse, a festival style event in celebration of the International Day of Peace featuring live music from Jahson & the Natty Vibez, the Columbia Community Drum Circle, Kevin McKinney, the Dances of Universal Peace, spoken word with Mama G, activities for all ages, and an organization fair of groups working for peace, justice and the environment.  3+ Hours of Peace, Love & Music.  #peaceday

Peace Day at the Statehouse Sunday Sept 17th!

Carolina Peace hosts the 3rd Annual  Peace Day at the Statehouse  SUNDAY Sept 17th from 1pm to 4pm at the SC Statehouse grounds (Main & Gervais) featuring live music from CJ Mack & the PeaceMackers and the Columbia Community Drum Circle, activities for all ages including face painting, cornhole, “Summer of Love” theme photobooth.  Plus an organizational fair of groups working for peace, justice & the environment.

FREE!  Donations accepted.

1pm-2pm Columbia Community Drum Circle, 2pm CJ Mack & the PeaceMackers, ~2:45PM Group picture as giant peace sign.
