Last week, the Senate voted to advance consideration Senate Joint Resolution 54 Sanders-Lee allowing to be scheduled for floor debate and vote this week. In its 4th year, Saudi intervention in the civil war in Yemen has resulted in thousands of civilians deaths from bombing of hospitals and marketplaces. The Saudi blockade has led to tens of thousands of deaths of Yemeni children from a man-made famine and disease. All with US support, including until recently US in-flight refueling for Saudi bombing runs.
